Niraj Nair is an actor/artist based in NYC. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch where he studied at Atlantic Acting School, Stonestreet Studios, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Indian by heritage and raised in the Middle East, Oceania and Southeast Asia, Niraj’s work considers how forces of politics and culture shape our identities and relationships. With sharp focus and generosity of spirit, his work looks to bring humanity to conceptual questions in hopes that audiences are reenergised to consider how they attach meaning to our shared ideas.

Niraj’s recent New York credits include Lost Girl (Slightly) with Viscera Theatre Collective, and Middletown (Public Speaker, Greg, Landscaper) at NYU. London credits include the world premiere of Cachés: Clé à Dali (Salvador Dali) with Anastasiya Yevchenko, The Winter’s Tale (Leontes) at RADA.

In his spare time, he love trying the odd recipe, throwing on a new album, or getting through his reading list. His perfect day is spent on the beach with friends and family.
